Cheers to a good year traveling

Hello and welcome to the blog site that will track Mike and Sal Fecitt on our travels around the world.

We are both around 30 years old (OK well myself,  Mike is older but I’m holding onto the almost 30 thing) and have recently quit our jobs to spend just over a year on a round the globe trip.  Please use this site to follow us as we update it with our travels, adventures and accidents we encounter as we head off in search of what the world has to offer.

We are planning to start our trip in India on December 28th 2010 and carry on travelling for 14 months, hoping to finish in Rio carnival in February 2012.  Along the way we would like to get to a host of countries including, China, South Korea, Japan, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Singapore, Bali, Australia, New Zealand, Brasil, Chile, Argentina, Mexico and hopefully a few more on route that spring up and surprise us.

Keep an eye out for the Man City ducks and bear in our photos too as these our the traveling mascots and you will see them in various places around the world. There’s a bit of a Where’s Wally theme going on wiht the site I know with the domain name too but hey its all good fun!

    Hey guys. It was great talking to you on the corner in Hanoi. Hope your trip is a good one. Love the site. Did u do it yourselves?

    Check out treasurebeach.net when you get a chance and ask your Jamaican (brother-in-law?) if he knows Rebecca, my business partner. if he’s from treasure beach, he must. 🙂
